I need to bring my mom to the US.

Hi all,

I recently got my citizenship, but haven't had a chance to get a passport yet. My mom is in her home country, which is currently the absolute worst in regards of covid, and for that reason I want to bring her, to keep her safe. Does anyone know how to make that happen? Is the "stay 14 days in Mexico" still working? if so is that the only way? She's too old to stay there by herself and I can't meet her there because of my passport situation.

TIA
