I want to invest in a two year old startup company. The owners are citizens and they work actively for this company on day to day operations. I still want to work for my H1B employer. But I want to work for this company in long run. I’m not looking for EB-5 investors visa but I’m looking for other options as I don’t have that much funds. To get started I just want to invest right now for certain percentage of company. Any ideas are appreciated and where to get started? What should I look for? What are the legal options ?
