Can I sponsor my spouse for immigration if I lost my job due to Covid and going back to school? She's the breadwinner.

In Los Angeles my service industry job got decimated. Even before then I didn't make as much as my wife. But she's literally helping us through this financially and agreed that I should go back to school instead of fighting for a job in the industry right now. Am I able to sponsor her? I mean if she were to lose her work visa then I'd basically have to leave as well to another country where I couldn't work.

Is it possible to make the case for me as a student and her as the breadwinner?
