Green Card Lottery and other US Visas

I’m looking to visit friends in LA this summer for 2-3 months. I’m hoping to sublet a place with a friend for a few months. I’m a Canadian student with a part-time job for a Canadian company that can be done remotely. I have no intention of staying and will be returning back to Canada to finish my degree once the 2-3 months are up. Am I allowed to do any work for my job while I’m travelling? Keep in mind the job has no ties to the US — it’s a Canadian entity that doesn’t deal with Americans, and I get paid in CAD into my CAD bank account. I tried googling but I’ve seen mixed messages. I’ve travelled to the US many times in the past and the border agents never ask me much when I’m at the airport, but I don’t want to lie. Hello all! Please do let me know if this is the correct place to post this question. ​ This is in relation to an expedite request I have submitted to USCIS for my I-765. Let me give some backstory: ​ I arrived in the US on an L1-B visa in August 2018. Since then, I married my wife in June 2020, who is a US Citizen. In early July 2021, I submitted my Adjustment of Status petition for my marriage-based green card. I have since attended my biometrics appointment in September. This was the last movement I had on my petition, I have not had any updates since then. ​ The issue I'm facing currently is in regards to my work authorization. My company filed for L1-B extension, and received an RFE. long story short: I went to US in 2017 on an ESTA came back before my 90 days applied to go college in the US went for my student visa in 2018 and was denied due to lack of ties back home (UK) my esta was still valid so went back for a few months during summer and came back after 2 months. fast forward to this year I applied for a ESTA and denied because of the visa denial most likely. now I'm a full time student here in the UK going into my final year as a mech engineer. planning on doing my masters here too, have a job (not been long tho) and own 2 cars but I still live with my parents. will the 3 to 4 years away from US play a part in this? what other ties can I show or proof can I bring with me for a B2 visa to even slightly strengthen my chances? Hey everyone, So I have a dumb question, back in the old, old days I lived outside of my country when I was young and dumb. However I don't remember the address nor do I have ways to find out the old address... Will that be an issue? My parents got into the process of buying a house. We are under pending asylum since 2018 and our EADs expired on June 19 of 2021. Using the 797C document we’ve been able to extend the validity of the work permit, however, yesterday we found out that 5 days has past since the 180 day extension ended, which means that our EAD is now not valid. My dad got a notice in may saying that USCIS received his EAD extension, however they just started processing cases submitted in may which means that we won’t get the EADs this year. We are also under pending TPS, we submitted everything on march and have some notices from USCIS to prove that we have another case, but it hasn’t been approved. Yesterday, the mortgage lady told my dad that they can’t prove his legal estatus by just USCIS process notices but he’s sure that there is a way. Can anyone with knowledge help me? Hi guys, I am going to have to do the medical at some point and read I need the covid vaccine? I am not an antivaxxer or anything (been vaccinated for everything in the past) but I am a little hesitant on getting the covid vaccine because i have heard SO much about it. So many mixed reviews about the vaccine, I have heard it can cause blood clots and infertility and stuff like that. I know that its probably untrue, but it really scared me and has made me wait to get it until there was more testing done. I want to wait a little longer before I get it if I can. Is there any way I can skip the vaccine for my medical exam?
