I-1944 on B2 visa

I am on a visitor visa. My child applied for a visitor visa extension. Covid 19 happened, and recently had my fingerprint done. Still waiting for the approval notice. Of extension happened should expire on November 2020. My child, a US citizen, is sponsoring me for a green card. He is preparing for I-130, I-485 adjudication. One of the requirements is to add I-1944 form along with it. I-1944 form asks for financial documents. I have been here for a visitor visa, I do not work here, and have not filed tax. I do not have any property here in the States. I do not even have medical insurance. I have not taken any public benefits. The form states to list out everything. What should do I have to put here? Do I have to list property and income from the foreign country? Should I list everything I have from the country I am from? I need suggestions. If you had the same issue the please share. Don’t suggest me to hire a lawyer. I can’t afford or I don’t think it’s needed for me. Any suggestion...

What happens if a US citizenship request is denied?

My husband has been in the US for about 20 years (student visa, work visa, then perm legal resident through marriage to me). We've been married for almost 15 (2 kids, mortgage, shared financial responsibilities, the usual stuff). He's decided to apply for citizenship. He is from what our dear leader refers to as a "shithole country". What happens if his citizenship request is denied? He gets to maintain his permanent legal resident status, right? Is there any likelihood (I know there is always a "chance", so I don't want to use that word) that they can deny his citizenship request AND cancel his perm legal resident status? The US is such a crapshow and so unfriendly to immigrants right now that I'm worried that calling attention to himself could somehow result in something bad. Full disclosure: he was in removal proceedings at the very beginning of our marriage due to a paperwork error from his university. (They didn't correctly file the docum...

My Eb2 India I140 was filed with soc code 15-1021 and SOC title computer programmers with Java J2EE programming stack, back in 2010. Priority date is April 2010. J-1 Research Scholar. Do I need a National Interest Exception to enter the US?

I'm from the Schengen area and am planning on applying for a J-1 Research Scholar visa, because I have an appointment on February 1, 2021. I am currently working under the presumption that the travel ban will be extended past December 31, 2020 (just to be sure). All sources keep telling me that Research Scholars, Short-term Scholars, Professors, Specialists, Alien Physicians, Students or Student Interns categories are exempted from the Presidential Proclamation of June 22. What does this mean? Do I still need a NIE to proceed with my plans? Or am I exempted from this requirement? submitted by /u/BanaLife [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/immigration/comments/j0stjv/j1_research_scholar_do_i_need_a_national_interest/

DS-160 form questions

I recently transferred to an academic H1B this year from an F1 visa. I have never applied for an H1B visa stamping from my home country since I did not leave the US. Now I’m planning to apply for a new F1 visa for grad school and I am filling out the DS-160. I saw a question for previous visa held, should I enter the details for my F1 visa or H1B even though I never technically got an H1B stamping? I could not find any fields on the form to enter details about my H1B application, am I missing something? Thanks! submitted by /u/Hot_Research_ [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/immigration/comments/j0snz8/ds160_form_questions/
