Does my husband's SSN change after marriage to me ?

I am American. My husband is German. We were married here in the US one month ago.

He is here on his own work visa thru his company. He has a valid SSN and work authorization.

His company is paying for the immigration Attorney to go thru the green card process and change of status.

My question is, does he get a NEW SSN ?? Does his SSN change once he gets his green card? This may concern me as we have done a lot to get his credit score in the low 800's so we get a great rate on a home. I don't want to lose 2 years of work and change over credit cards, mortgage etc.,
